WHO ARE WE?
The word Ginkon is extracted from the word GINKONEH meaning the first son of the warrior. The Bojangs from Jamburr were worriors in those days they were known for fierce fighting and conquering clans. The whole idea of establishing GINKON FOUNDATION came from KEBBA MADI BOJANG who is the CEO of the foundation. KEBBA MADI BOJANG is son and a native of Jamburr who stood firm to support the needies. He is a strong supporter of HE president Adams Barrow for his development oriented mind. KEBBA MADI and his related son Honorable Momodou Bojang, the administrator of the foundation established the foundation to compliment the efforts of the Government on its development agendas. The foundation was registered in the year 2017 under attorney General's chambers to be recognized legally
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
- Boreholes were drilled across the length of the country.
- Rice and other food stuff were distributed annually across the country.
- Rams for Muslims feast are donated to the poor.
- Tree planting and growing is annually exercised.
- Some students were awarded scholarship for their education to be continued.
- Women gardens were taken care for sustainability and better yeilding.
- Markets were erected in some villages in Kombo South.
- Milling machines were distributed across the country.
- Sports kits were also given on numerous occasions to the sporting youths.
